Butter Chicken




Butter chicken never tasted so yummy before! Restaurant quality butter chicken at home. It's very easy to make and it will definitely raise your status as Master-chef  of your kitchen...


You will need, Ingredients:

• 500 grams boneless Chicken  
• Red color
• 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 2 onions sliced
• 2 large tomatoes
• 100 gram cashews
• 3 tbsp cooking oil
• Whole garam masala
• 1 tsp Ground red pepper
• 1 tsp Ground coriander
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp ground garam masala
• 1 tsp ground cumin 
• 1/2 cup tomato sauce
• 50 grams butter
• Half bunch coriander 
• 3-4 green chillies
• 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves
• Few Coals 


Step 1:

Boil chicken in ginger garlic paste and red color as desired. Shred the chicken and keep the stock aside. On an other pan, heat some oil and fry your onions till golden brown.


Step 2:

In a mixer grinder, add fried onions, chopped tomatoes and cashews with half cup chicken stock. Grind till it turns into a thick paste.


Step 3:

In a large pan, heat 3 tbsp oil and add whole garam masala. ( make sure no cumin seeds, we are already using powder later)

Then add shredded chicken and sauté for a while. Add all ground spices and the cashew paste. Sauté for a while and add tomato sauce and chicken stock as required. You can use more tomato sauce if you like butter chicken little more tangy. At this point you also add more color if you want, not necessary.

On other pan heat the butter. Allow it to melt and add dried fenugreek leaves with slitted green chillies. As the green chillies starts to Change its color, pour the melted butter mixture on the gravy. Cook for a while and turn the heat off. Heat few coals till they turn red and give coal smoke to butter chicken.

Sprinkle coriander on top and serve hot with tandoori roti or naan. Enjoy!
