Chocolatey Dates

No way! How come these little chocolatey dates be so addictive. I am warning whoever is considering to make them, kindly make more in quantity.

This recipe struck to me when I was bored eating plain dates for breaking fasts in Ramadan. I went into the kitchen an hour before the Iftar and in 15 minutes  I was done making few chocolatey dates.

All you need for this wonder dates:

• Dark chocolate 50 grams
• seedless soft dates 1 cup
• Desiccated Coconut half cup
• roasted almonds (optional)

Step 1: Deseed

Deseed your Dates. Remember very soft dates tastes the best. I used Original Kimia Dates.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate

In a microwaveable bowl, melt your dark chocolate and beat it with the silver spoon till it reaches the room temperature.

Step 3: Mix and shape!

Combine your dates and melted chocolate till they appear like a dough. Now shape them as desired. If you like dry- fruits so simply insert roasted almonds between the chocolatey dates. Dip them in dedicated coconut.

They are DONE! Seriously! So Yummy and So Easy!! They are worth trying, all Dates lovers will drool with this new and easy homemade chocolatey dates.

You can exclude desiccated coconut and  make them nutty by combining mix dry fruits with dark chocolate in the seedless dates.

10 mins Bread Pudding

Confused what to do with the bread leftover loaf? Turn them into fluffy, custardy gold with this simple and quick dessert.

Ingredients:

• Microwaveable glass bowl
• bread (stale ok!)
• 1 egg
• 1-3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons yogurt or Milk
• 2 tablespoons butter or Margarine
• 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
• Dash of cinnamon or cardamon
•  Almonds (optional)
• Saffron (optional)

Step 1: Tear it up!

Use the softest bread to get the best result. I think it really enhances the taste and texture.

Step 2: blend all the remaining ingredients!

You can exclude what's optional, all depends on your choice.

Step 3: pour!

It's time to cross some limit and be a little creative. My father likes dry fruits, so I don't hesitate using almonds, raisins and saffron as much I wish.

Step 4: Microwave, set and serve!

Pop in the microwave for about 3 minutes. When it's done let it cool for as long as you can stand it. Letting it set for few minutes allow the flavour and texture to set in.

Once cooled to your liking, dig in and enjoy.

Note: if you had made this dessert a little earlier, you can allow it to cool and then cover it with a foil paper or a lead and let it rest in the refrigerator for as long as you wish. It tastes great.
